2. Set the portion of the meal

3. Consume lots of protein
Consumption of foods that contain lots of protein can increase satiety, reduce hunger, and help you consume fewer calories. Some examples of foods rich in protein, chicken breast, fish, yoghurt, lentils, and almonds.
4. Consumption of fibrous foods
Foods rich in fiber can make full quickly, while helping you feel full longer. A study also shows that a special fiber - called a thicker fiber - is helpful for weight loss. This type of fiber can be found in whole grain cereals, asparagus, oranges, nuts, and flaxseed.
5. Get enough sleep
Good quality sleep has a great influence on one's appetite and one's weight. This is because lack of sleep can disrupt appetite regulatory hormones and trigger the production of stress hormones, which in turn increases the risk of obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
6. Frequently drinking water
Research says that people who drink 0.5 liters of water half an hour before eating lose weight by about 44% within 12 weeks.
